What is podcasting?

Podcasting is a way to make audio files available online in a way that allows listeners to subscribe and have them automatically downloaded. The files can then be played on portable MP3 players and computers.

The process makes use of RSS (Really Simple Syndication) technology, which is a standard for publishing regular updates to web-based content.

To subscribe to our podcasts, you will need newsreader software that can read RSS feeds with enclosures. These include iTunes, iPodder.net and Doppler for the PC and iTunes and IPodderX for the Mac.

Add the RSS feed address listed on our media page and your computer will go out and fetch the files automatically so you can add them to your iPod or preferred media player.

Do I need an Mp3 player like an iPod to listen to a podcast?

No, our podcasts are all in Mp3 format so you can listen to them on most modern computer operating systems using Quicktime, iTunes or Windows Media Player. You do not need a portable player to enjoy our deliciously crafted audio presentations.
